One meeting · one private record

Capture both sides without a meeting bot.

No participant joins the call, and no screen recording is needed. JesRecap listens to your microphone and the audio already playing through your Mac—even when you use a headset.

Your side

Microphone

Your voice is recorded to its own track, so it stays clear and independently exportable.

Their side

Speaker or headset

The meeting audio is captured directly, without using a virtual attendee or recording your screen.

Together

A complete local transcript

Both sources become one readable meeting record, while the original tracks remain available when you need them.

You choose the resource cost

Read it live, or transcribe when you stop.

Some meetings need live text. Other computers need their memory back. Pick the transcription mode that fits the moment.

Live transcript

See the words while people speak.

Keep the local model loaded during the meeting and watch the transcript grow in real time.

Record first

Save memory until the meeting ends.

Record both audio streams without loading the speech model. JesRecap starts transcription after you press Stop.

Meeting actions

Carry the conversation into any AI.

One click copies a useful prompt with the full transcript attached. Paste it into the language model you already use—JesRecap does not choose one for you or upload the meeting itself.

Everything after record

A meeting recorder that knows when to stay quiet.

The useful parts are close at hand. The expensive parts are optional. Your meeting content remains local by default.

AB

Optional speaker labels

Turn diarization on only when names such as Speaker 1 and Speaker 2 make the transcript easier to follow.

Multilingual when needed

Use fast Parakeet by default, or choose Whisper when wider language support matters more.

Useful exports

Save Markdown notes, text, JSON, SRT, VTT, mixed audio, microphone audio or meeting audio.

Searchable history

Find an older conversation, reopen its transcript and continue from the exact meeting record.

Separate audio tracks

Keep the mixed meeting and both original sources, instead of flattening everything into one mystery file.

Dock or menu bar

Run JesRecap as a regular Mac app, or keep it in the menu bar when you want a quieter workspace.

Launching soon for macOS

Pay for the recorder. Not another subscription.

JesRecap is being prepared for its first public release. The signed download and dedicated purchase flow will appear here when it is ready.

Before the meeting starts

Common questions.

Does JesRecap record my screen?

No. JesRecap captures audio only: your microphone and the meeting sound playing through your speaker or headset.

Does the transcription leave my Mac?

No. Speech recognition runs locally. Your recorded audio and transcript stay on your Mac unless you choose to export or copy them somewhere else.

Is an AI summary included?

JesRecap prepares summary, action-item and custom prompts with your transcript attached. You copy the prompt into any language model you prefer, so no meeting is silently sent to a third party.

Will the speech model use memory throughout the meeting?

Only if you choose live transcription. In record-first mode, JesRecap waits to load the model until you end the meeting and begin transcription.

Can it tell speakers apart?

Yes, as an optional setting. Speaker labeling adds processing time, so you can enable it only for meetings where the extra structure is worth it.

Which Macs will it support?

The first release is being built for Apple Silicon Macs. Exact macOS and hardware requirements will be confirmed with the signed download.
